A strong set and lighting design, together with incredible synergy between video and lighting programming were the starting point for our visual approach on this show. We designed all the visuals and iMag concepts, in collaboration with Baz Halpin. Khalid himself came up with the idea of performing a duet with a digital dancer, projected onto a semi transparent string curtain. We directed a motion capture shoot with the dancer, and then morphed the digital version of the dancer through several elementally inspired states.
